THE TRUSTED ELECTRICIAN FOR NEW HOUSES
Whether you’re building a standalone house or part of a larger development, we handle every stage of house wiring on the North Shore and throughout Auckland, from rough-in through to final fit-off.
We work alongside your builder to keep things moving, with clear communication throughout and upfront pricing before any work begins.
- First Fix Wiring: We box out, drill out, and run all cables, conduit, and rough-in wiring before the walls are lined, positioned exactly where your plans specify.
- Second Fix: Once the walls are finished, our new build electricians return to cut out and strip out switches, power points, and the switchboard.
- Third Fix: We come back once the house has been fully painted and the kitchen has been installed to fit all lights, switches, power points, and test the installation.
- Switchboard Installation: We size and install your switchboard to safely handle your home’s load, with the capacity to grow as your needs change.
- Smart Home Pre-Wiring: Planning ahead for home automation, EV charging, or need a solar electrician on the North Shore? We can pre-wire it for you now so you don’t have to open walls later.
- Certificate of Compliance: We complete all work to the standards required under the Electricity Act 1992, and a Certificate of Compliance is issued upon completion.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN SHOULD I GET AN ELECTRICIAN INVOLVED IN A NEW BUILD?
We recommend getting our team involved as early as possible—ideally during the planning stage, before your builder breaks ground.
Getting an electrician for new construction involved from the start means your electrical layout can be designed around your floor plan from the outset, not retrofitted to it. Early involvement also helps avoid costly changes once framing has started.
CAN YOU WIRE A MULTI-UNIT DEVELOPMENT?
We work on both multi-unit residential developments and single homes across the North Shore and wider Auckland area. Our team can manage the full electrical scope across multiple dwellings, coordinating with your builder and other trades to keep your project on schedule.
DO YOU WORK WITH SPECIFIC BUILDERS, OR CAN I BRING YOU ONTO ANY PROJECT?
Both. We work with a range of builders across Auckland, and we’re equally happy to join a project where the builder’s preferred team is already in place. Our number one priority is to fit in with your programme and keep communication clear from start to finish.
HOW LONG DOES ELECTRICAL WORK USUALLY TAKE IN A NEW BUILD?
Project timelines depend on the size and complexity of the build. A standard three-to-four-bedroom home typically requires two to four days for first fix wiring, plus another day or two for second fix once the walls are lined, and then two to four days for final fit off and testing.
Our new build electricians always provide a clear timeline estimate during our initial conversation, so your builder can plan their work around us.
